How To Make And Install Traditional Interior Trim

Traditional or historical interior trim for doors and windows, and for baseboard and crown moulding, can be elegant in it's simplicity of lines. In this video I'll concentrate on the kind of casings commonly found in early to mid 1800s homes, which used a bead detail as well as a mitered butt joint. But, this project is for a modern house, not a museum set! In the shop I'll make the trim from scratch out of flat wood stock, and then show you how to install it. I'll go over some tips and tricks to make the work look good in spite of the poor quality wood available today.
