UNESCO Guerlain ‘Women for Bees’ programme

The ‘Women for Bees’ programme aims to empower women in the World Network of Biosphere Reserves through training and support for small-scale, sustainable beekeeping with native bees. Just as the diversity of bees supports pollination, food security and livelihoods, the diversity of beekeeping knowledge and practices are valorized in the Women for Bees programme and contributes to their conservation.
