Rainbow Tie Dye Cake Recipe

How to make a cool rainbow cake with the colors of the rainbow! It does look like Tie Dye for someone's birthday.
Ingredients:
2 sticks of butter (235 grams)
2 cups sugar (475 grams)
4 eggs
4 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 cups all purpose flour
3 and 1/2 teaspoons baking powder (17 grams)
1 cups milk (237 ml)

I used 8 inch pans and it baked for 40 minutes @ 350F

Frosting:
2 sticks butter (235 grams)
3 cups sifted confectioners sugar (I sifted before measuring)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 Tablespoons heavy whipping cream

I should have made 50% more frosting, and I suggest that you do as well.
