Fruity Pebbles Cheesecake with Michael's Home Cooking
A festive vanilla cheesecake made with Fruity Pebbles. See full recipe in description box.
Ingredients:
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
1 Tablespoon sugar (brown or white)
5 1/2 Tablespoons melted butter
3 eight ounce packages cream cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
dash salt
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 eggs
2 cups Fruity Pebbles breakfast cereal
Please have all ingredients ready at room temperature, to get a smooth mixture.
Prepare your crust, then refrigerate or you can bake it 15 minutes in a 350F oven, then cool crust.
Mix your cream cheese to insure it will be smooth.
Add your sour cream and mix thoroughly.
Add dash salt and cup of sugar and mix.
Add vanilla extract and one egg and mix.
Add second egg and mix.
Add third egg and mix.
Add fruity pebbles and mix by hand.
Put mixture into springform that is wrapped with aluminum foil.
Put springform pan into a larger skillet or baking dish and add HOT water for a water bath.
Bake 350F for 50 to 65 minutes.
Baking time depends on size of springform pan, you can use the size of pan that you have. Mine was 8 inches.
Cool to room temperature after baking, then cool overnight in refrigerator.
You can also use 4 packages of cream cheese if you wish.
If so use this amount of ingredients:
1 cup sour cream
dash salt
1 and 1/4 cups sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 eggs
the 2 cups of fruity pebbles
