M/V Estonia - diving into the sea
The Estonia ferry distaster. This video recordings has been copied from a cassette called MASTER. The divings was made in June 1996 and was filmed by the Finish Coast Guard ROV.
From about 1.06, a hole is visible close up front. The hole has petal-like steel plates bending outwards. This is the same hole the Jutta Rabe expedition took samples from back in 2000.
From about 59 into the video the starboard lock lug is filmed.
From about 1.22.30 a rope is seen tied around the port side locking mechanism.
