M/V Estonia - oil removal

A documentary describing the technial aspects of removing oil from the wreck of Estonia. The video footage is from spring and summer of 1996. The oil removal was a way of preparing the wreck to be covered with sand, gravel, stones, and concrete.

The operation of covering the wreck was thank God interrupted a month into the process.

6:30 into the clip - the norwegian ship Tertnes is seen. The ship was there to place gravel and stones about 200 meters fram the wreck.
