Going Blind: Paul's Journey into Darkness

In this special episode of His and His, Matthew interviews Paul about the rare disease that is causing him to go permanently blind. We learn about the first signs of sight loss, and his eventual diagnosis with the genetic condition Retinitis Pigmentosa. Paul explains how he dealt with the information at age 16, and why he wasn’t able to let himself grieve for several years. Paul also talks about choosing a career as a visual artist, and how he is able to produce artwork with limited vision.
