Wrapping Up Soybean Harvest!

We are finally on the last of our bean fields. The first field I went to had corn planted on the front half and beans in the back. This made a little bit of a headache because we had to run the corn head over, put it on the combine, make an area for the semis and a path across the field, take it off, and then put the bean header on. While combining the area to get the semis into, I had a bolt fall out of one of my snoots. This was a minor delay, but we got it taken care of with no issues. Once we got the new bolt on, we got done combining an area for the semis, put the bean head on, and finished our soybeans.

The next morning we wanted to get started on corn but had a plethora of things to do first. The 2016 John Deere S680 is still here for the time being. They are running a John Deere 612C head on the John Deere. While the S680 was out combining corn, we finished up fixing our combine in the main heated shop. We got everything ready on the machine when Ronnie, our trucker, called and said he had a load of rock for us. We told him where to put it then went to combining corn for the rest of the video.
