Here is my Ken Loomer Big Band in concert at the world famous Ringling Museum in Florida. This song "In A Mellowtone" composed by Duke Ellington is a great jazz standard. I always honor the great Buddy Rich by playing some of his exciting charts. This arrangement done by jazz legend Oliver Nelson of In A Mellowtone is one swinging chart. I get to drive the Big Band and support my excellent musicians on my classic 1970 Slingerland drums. It`s all about having the right feel for this swing music and doing my part on the drums to make the music sound exciting and fresh.
