Swinging Ken Loomer Big Band

It`s all about the Feel and Swinging all the way when playing with a roaring Big Band. I look up to the Big Band Leaders like Woody Herman,Buddy Rich,Maynard Ferguson,Count Basie,Gordon Goodwin,Louie Bellson,and Jeff Hamilton who know how to put the right musicians together to get the most swinging sound possible. Thanks to my musicians who I hired for this club date i`m able to keep the sound of a swinging Big Band alive today. I have seen Big Bands like Buddy Rich and Maynard Ferguson in the past playing these type of clubs and the people are right on top of the band. As a Big Band leader today,I have to find the best musicians possible and of course select the type of music I want my Big Band to play.This was my opening number playing this great Woody Herman chart"Things Ain`t What They Use To Be".
