Istanbul is a popular destination amongst tourists, specially during these days where few countries are open for tourism due to ongoing pandemic.

We have been in love with Turkey watching their TV serials dubbed in Urdu since many years.

A city that sits on both Europe and Asia, divided only by the Bosphorus Strait continues to be one of Europe's most AFFORDABLE cities to visit.

Tourism in Istanbul offers variety of sightseeing and entertainment options, a city full of beautiful mosques with their unique architecture and history, lots and lots of affordable shopping options, amazingly beautiful sea with islands (Buyukada commonly known as 'princess island') and of course a city famous for its food.

We had a long weekend due to Eid ul Adha holidays and hence we decided to take this short trip to our long awaited destination. Luckily the visa process was quick and we were able to plan this trip in a very short period of time.

In our previous vlog of Day 1 we visited Hagia Sophia Mosque which was rebuilt as an Orthodox Church in 6th Century duing Bezantine Empire or Roman Empire. Later it was converted to a mosque in 1453 when Roman empire fell to Ottomans. In 1935, the secular Turkish government established it as a Museum and finally it reopened as a mosque last year in 2020.
