RE: 6 Ways Being a Vegetarian Could Seriously Mess You Up (yellow journalism & anti-veg propaganda)
Katherine Schreiber thinks vegetarians are at a higher risk for vitamin D deficiency (they aren't), that we can't meet vitamin D needs so we should supplement with calcium instead (what?), that we are at a higher risk for iron deficiency anemia (wrong again), and that we are more likely to become anxious and depressed (this again?).
It's a sad piece of propaganda written by someone who can't even be bothered to read the studies she references. It's also the topic of this 25+ minute video. Enjoy and please be sure to share with anyone you know who found her article at all convincing.
