Miami South Beach Scenes -- I Didn't Know It Was So Beautiful -- Chapter 3

I had an idea what Miami South Beach was like through TV and movies but until I saw it with my own eyes I didn't have a proper appreciation for it. Miami is a great tourism destination. Yes it is a bit expensive but the fact that you can fly there direct in 2 hours on cheap $50-$100 flights with airlines like Spirit makes up for that. By comparison a flight to Thailand cost $1200 and takes 25-30 hours from the East Coast. If you are going there for 6 months that makes sense, but if you are just on a 1 week holiday or vacation, Miami makes a lot more sense thought it's not true Cheap Charlie destination. And you don't have to leave the country, don't even need a passport. There is a different feel to Miami Beach, it has it's own vibe, a little bit Cuban and Latin American, a little bit Floridian, a little bit New Yorican, a little bit American. Not many beaches in the world I've seen have all the amenities that Miami has, showers and bathrooms near beach exists, all sorts of sports activities. Just make sure you take some sunscreen, the sun is intense here.
