Here are 5 REASONS to add sheep to your small farm! Sheep farming does come with challenges, but if you can get your management strategies in place, I believe sheep can be a profitable option for small farms. We are farming 25 Dorper sheep in East Texas. Dorper Sheep produce excellent quality meat, and are just plain good looking! Dorper sheep are often labeled the Angus of the sheep world. Dorper sheep are a self-shedding breed of hair sheep that is great for warmer climate.
