Toshiba Camileo Z100 Align or not Align -that's the question...

What is changed is that I tested to boost the sound with audacity and -on top of that- ALIGNED the video horizontal and vertical -as some 3D enthusiasts claims are absolutely nescessary to make the video watchable.
And here comes my question:
Aligning 3D videos -is this made only for better ANAGLYPH watching (primarily to avoid ghosting?)? Because with my active glasses/sbs it makes no difference. And watching with anaglyph glasses on, in fact, the deepth is reduced in the aligned version -looks a little bit sharper but at the same time gives a telephotolens-ish effect like if the video is compressed in depth. And it also seems to move the "focus" in the picture. I can imagine that with a 2 cam setup and wide interaxial it will serve its purpose -but with the Camelios very short interaxial of 30mm -its more or less aligned from the beginning :) (if aware of your nearpoint..) .
So the question is: Align or not align...
Feel free to compare the two videos for wich has the best 3D-depth.
(You will probably have to change left&right view to watch the video properly.)
