DIY VR180 Rig: Sync two cameras with one remote control..does it keep the sync?

The two cheap Chinese action Cams I bought for my Experimental DIY VR180 rig came with a remote control each. If I put one remote control in a small plastic bag the signal gets wider and I can start and stop both cameras simultaneously. The question is...will the sync stay throughout the video?
In my first tests I recorded the videos in 3840x2160@30fps 21000kbit/s but it was very close to the limit of the chip (sometimes resulting in lost frames and videos out of sync) so now I record in 2.7K@30fps in 32000kbit/s and upscale the footage ..

My DIY VR180 Experimental Rig:
2 cheap 4K chinese action cams (Brand Vemico) $37 each
2 180 degrees fish eye full frame lenses $6 each

I use 3DCombineV6 to make the fish eye videos equirectangular, match colors, alignment, rotation and more

VR180 Creator to inject the metadata before uploading to YouTube
