Marian Rivera Gracía (pronounced: [maɾjan riβeɾa]) (August 12, 1984, Madrid) is an actress, singer, dancer and naturalized Filipino Spanish model, she made herself known in several series of television like Marimar, Dyesebel, Darna, Amaya and Temptation of Wife. As a recording artist, he has also released two studio albums: the Marian Rivera Dance Hits and Retro Crazy. She has also starred in such films as My Bestfriend’s Girlfriend, Tarot, You to Me Are Everything and Panday 2. She has been named one of the sexiest actresses in the Philippines.
Marian Rivera was born in Madrid, Spain, daughter of Francisco Javier Gracía Alonso, Spanish and Amalia Rivera, filipina natural of Cavite. After her parents separated 2 years after her birth, her mother brought her to her country Philippines where she grew most of her life. However, her mother had to leave to continue her commitment to work abroad that was sent by her maternal grandmother, Francisca Rivera in Bacoor, Cavite. Rivera continued with her primary and secondary education at the San Francisco de Asís School and then continued her university studies after finishing her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the “De La Salle University Dasmariñas”. After graduating, he worked for the National Institute of Mental Health in Mandaluyong, where he made a delivery of medications, tests and evaluation to patients. She also tried to become a teacher of the SPED, before being discovered by the world of entertainment. In August 2014, Rivera became engaged to his long-time boyfriend named Dingdong Dantes, a Filipino television actor and presenter.
