Soipan Tuya is a Politician and a lawyer from Kenya. She has been selected as the Cabinet Secretary in the Ministry of Environment and Forestyon on 27th September 2022. She got selected by President William Ruto for her this position.

She has experience working as a Member of Parliament from Narok Constituency since 2013. She has also remained a member of some of the popular Institutions in Kenya. Cabinet Secretary in the Ministry of Environment and Forestry Mrs. Soipan Tuya is also a former member of the Departmental Committee on Defence & Foreign Relations. Her experience in different fields provided her the opportunity to be Cabinet Minister.

Soipan Tuya has roots in politics and the Law sector. Being a politician she has worked with aim of doing more for women and raising the lifestyle of the people around her. She now serves her duty as a cabinet minister under the Jubilee political Party.

Recently at the Parliament House on 19th October 2022, Soipan made a statement that has raised her good image among the Jubilee Party followers. She states that the Shamba system should be permitted in Commercial forests for reforestation purposes. She stated in her statement that she will continue the forest conservation efforts that her predecessors began.
