Cambridge Minor at Brimpsfield (Part 2)

Second go at Cambridge on this pleasant but oddstruck 6 which hang in a tiny little tower perched on top of the church roof. The church is in the middle of nowhere, though there is a very Alice-in-Wonderlandish walk through to the church from the car park!!

The bells get older as you go down the scale, although the previous treble was 1891 Mears; this was recast in 1998 by Whitechapel when the bells were rehung by Whitechapel.. Bells 2, 3 and 4 are all second-hand bells; the previous treble was also second-hand. The 5 is 6cwt but the Tenor is 10½cwt and hellishly slow at hand!!
