Beaghmore Stone Circles | Bronze Age Ritual Landscape in Northern Ireland #megalith #ancienthistory

High in the Sperrin Mountains lies one of Ireland’s most complex prehistoric landscapes: the Beaghmore Stone Circles.

Dating to the Bronze Age, this extraordinary site contains multiple stone circles, cairns, alignments, and standing stones spread across a carefully organised ritual landscape. Unlike many isolated monuments, Beaghmore appears to have been designed as a connected ceremonial space, possibly linked to seasonal gatherings, astronomical observation, or ritual activity.

This video explores the layout of the monument, its archaeological interpretation, and what Beaghmore reveals about prehistoric communities living in Ireland over 3,500 years ago.
