Most people hike Cave Hill for the view—but have you noticed this?

Cave Hill prehistoric cairn overlooks Belfast, a stone monument likely built in the later Neolithic or Early Bronze Age around 3000–2000 BCE, when communities across Ireland raised cairns to honour the dead, mark sacred places in the landscape, and express shared beliefs about ancestry and the afterlife.
