#shorts #short I disabled comments on this particular video to combat the spread of misinformation and ignorant comments. Half the people who comments on our shorts do not have even a basic knowledge of road laws, driving etiquette or common sense. Even though this stupid lady made a U-turn right next to a 'NO U-TURN' sign, I would get people in here saying incorrect things like, "U-turns aren't illegal there", "That wasn't a U-turn because she made a 3-point turn", "You were rude for not letting her finish", "You were rude for honking".

My rebuttal is that even a 3-point turn is still considered a U-turn under California law. Whether it's a broken U-turn or a continuous 180 degree fluid turnaround, doesn't matter. If your vehicle ends up pointing 180 degrees away from where you started, regardless of whether you had to reverse to finish it, it's still a U-turn. And yes, U-turns are illegal in business districts, hence the sign prohibiting U-turns. I was also under no obligation to hang back to let her finish. She shouldn't have made the U-turn to begin with. Period.
