Last year I made two videos about the Porsche 911 991 market. In those videos, I say that it is a good moment to enter the market. Now, one year later, it is time to figure out if my claims made any sense. Also, I will show you if the introduction of the 2020 Porsche 911 992 had an impact on the depreciation curve.

First, I introduce you to the current market and how the prices differ between the 991.1 and 911.2. and the Carrera and Carrera S. After this, it is time to figure how much the cars depreciated per last year. Therefore, I will show you how the current market compares to the market one year ago. This reveals that at the top end of the market, prices decreased significantly. At the lower end, however, there doesn’t seem to be any price changes. In the remainder of the videos, we will try to find out which market segments are responsible for the drop in prices and which market segments remained stable. It turn out the that 991.1 prices held extremely. Prices for the 991.2 came down a lot, but this only goes for the most recent model years.
