The video is structured in a top-down way. That means that we first have a look at the full market and some general price levels. After this, we will dive into the details.
Specifically, this means that the video for the 911is split into a few parts. We will start by having a look at the 911 GTS market. As you will see in the video, the market is relatively small, and the price variation is large. Especially the special editions such as the Reunion and Club sport demand a premium. After that, we inspect the depreciation numbers. The depreciation per year is relatively small and the curve seems to have flattened for the 997 generations. We also split the market further by the manuals and automatics cars, coupe, cabriolets, and targas, and generations. The depreciation per 1000 miles is in line with other cars in this segment. In the third part, we investigate how the depreciation curve of the 911 gts compares to the one of the turbo, gt3, and Carrera (s). Here you can see that the GTS holds its value better. At the end of the video, we also compare the depreciation rates of the gts to all the other cars which I have analysed on the channel. This shows that the GTS scores slightly better than cars with a similar age.
