Reverse knitting or backwards knitting is an ingenious technique that allows you to knit in the opposite direction. As a result, you don't need to turn the work around at the end of the row. Instead, you can knit from right to left. If you are knitting stockinette stitch, this means you will never have to purl a single stitch. It also prevents the yarn from getting twisted when knitting entrelac, bobbles or short rows.
