If you combine a Bavariant traveling stitch to the right with a knit through the back loop, you achieve this neat right-leaning decrease that is perfect to decrease twisted stitches.
It's an alternative way to knit two together twisted. If you don't know how to knit Bavarian twisted stitches yet, I urge you to watch this video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JpQqv8S_Xhc&t=26s
Anyway, to knit this right-slanting decrease, insert the right needle into the second on the left needle. Then secure the first stitch with your right index finger. Then drop both stitches (one should be on the right needle) and pick up the dropped stitch with your left needle. Then slip back the other stitch to the left needle. And knit these two stitches together through the backloop. (k2tog tbl).
If you do it the other way round, meaning traveling to the left and then k2tog, you have an alternative way to knit SSK, slip slip stitch.
