The Solutions Pro Glue Board XL is a large, non-toxic pre-baited rat-sized glue trap. This product is similar to our other Pro Glue Boards, but it is much larger at the size of 18.5” x 10.5”. The Pro Glue Board XL is perfect for capturing rats, mice, snakes, and other crawling pests.

Before using the glue boards, be sure to wear gloves. Wearing gloves anytime you handle the glue boards is important to avoid leaving any human scent that pests will avoid. The Solutions Pro Glue Board XL is protected by a wax paper seal and is easy to set up. Grip both the board and the wax seal in one corner, then swiftly pull them apart in one fast motion. This will keep the glue nice and smooth for the best placement and attractiveness.

Like the smaller glue boards, the Pro Glue Board XLs can be folded into a box shape. This will provide an enclosed space for rodents to travel in, and it will help prevent debris from building up, rendering the glue ineffective.

You can place the glue boards anywhere in your home, but it’s most effective when placed in areas with the most pest activity, away from heavily frequented areas.
Rodents do not like to travel across open space, so place the traps along walls, beside appliances, and beside or under furniture. Be sure to place the trap flush against the wall so that rodents travel across it.

We recommend placing your glue boards and checking them daily. Change the location of the boards after 2-3 days if you haven’t caught anything in that area. The glue boards won’t dry out, but they can collect dust and dirt and be less effective if laid out flat. If this happens, simply throw away the dirty board and place a new one.
