The END for DISCORD...

Discord is coming to the end of its glory days according to many news articles and journalists over the past few weeks. In this video, I break down their three main points and explain my own personal opinion as a Discord user who has been on the platform for many years. It includes the likes of YouTube shutting down the Discord Music Bots; Rythm and Groovy over the past month. Alongside the fact many more features seem to be driven towards pay walls - mainly behind Discord Nitro paywalls such as the recent Profile Customisations, Discord Beta Features and ability to access more Discord Servers. And finally, I speak about how Discord may face more competition from other companies such as Guilded in the coming months - just like how Skype and TeamSpeak faced competition from Discord.

Effectively, their main argument is Capitalism and that companies will want to drive towards a profit in which Discord isn’t excelling at recently - and as Discord wants to go public on the public stock market, it would make sense for the golden days of Discord to slowly come towards an end over the next year of so. I do see their point, but some things seem a little exaggerated. As I will explain throughout this video.

In the background I am playing Minecraft on the biggest server in the world, Hypixel. The game mode is Bed Wars which is a PvP game mode. I am on 1.8.9 with Badlion Client and Optifine.
