The Very Wriggly Baby Sienna
Baby Sienna is our first orphan in care this season and I am very happy to report that this season's orphan intake resembles more of a trickle than the avalanche we usually experience.
Now approaching two weeks of age, Sienna is still sleeping most of the time and only really wakes up to feed, flap and search for a lost dummy.
As flying-foxes roost in the tops of trees in full sun, it's important that our orphans receive daily sunbaths thus ensuring healthy wings and good vitamin D levels.
