Tesla Terafactory Texas Update #169 in 4K: Rapidly Connecting Columns - 06/15/21 (5:00pm | 98°F)

Welcome back everyone, it’s Randy! Today’s video shows just how rapidly things are moving in the northeast corner near the GigaPress! We’ve seen the process for raising and connecting the columns previously over the stamping and current GigaPress area, but they are definitely doing the same work much faster with this new work taking place in the northeast corner.

Here are today’s key takeaways:
-The GigaPress area shows that 10 of the cross beams that will support the Double Ts have been installed just today alone! Yesterday we saw one installed and today all of the ones that were on the ground are in place fully connecting the north edge of the perimeter to the current structure housing the GigaPress machines.
-Just east of where the Stamping and BIW buildings meet, it looks like they are making preparations to place a new road down.
-Across the highway, in the road we can see taking shape, we can see that just where the road starts to curve that they are delivering the materials for the first underlying layer. I’ll try to get a more detailed look at this side of the operation tomorrow.
-The BCP section looks to have most concrete poured on the upper floors and we can see work progressing on the ground floor and the next section prepped with rebar.
-The Bobcat Project area shows continued work on the land prep and we can see that a new area tucked away behind some trees has been prepped with the gravel base mix. Could a small building be going up here or something else like a smaller electrical substation, or maybe even a small lot.? Let me know in the comments below.
-Just south of the eastern part of the main parking lot, we saw a new area being excavated and today we can see how much it’s grown as it still expands.
-The underground stormwater detention system now shows that concrete has been poured around the perimeter of parts of the vault and we can see 2 new mud slabs in the top right and center as shown.
-Lastly, work has restarted with the installing of the ground-level wall sheathing on the west-facing side of the BIW building and they have covered a lot of ground in one day compared to what it looked like yesterday!
