Alan Jones speaks with WorkApp CEO about coordinating jobs and workers
Sky News host Alan Jones spoke with Shane Wallace about an app the former Queensland postman developed to help people make money at a time when work is hard to come by.
WorkApp helps potential employees to find a job and employers to find new staff and allows people to buy and sell online.
Mr Wallace said he and his brother developed the app initially to help coordinate tradies in a bid to make available “the closest active workers to the jobsite”.
Approximately 200,000 people have made use of the app and Mr Jones advised anyone interested to go to www.workapp.world to find out more.
Mr Jones also spoke with butcher Allan Waldon who established a fund to support and educate those living in hardship and poverty in Nepal, after he traveling to the Mount Everest base camp with his son in 2006.
