Zarzaur Law, P.A. TV: COVID 19 - A Bad News For UK As New Strain Variants Found!

It’s Christmas Eve, December 23rd, 2020, the year of the virus. And we are on the verge, hopefully of having the benefit of the vaccine. Attorney Joe Zarzaur and Dr. Evan Malone provide updates on percent positive numbers, disturbing news from the UK, as well as clarifications on the types of vaccines and myths about how long for the vaccine to be effective.

Local Percent Positive Numbers
The numbers here locally are somewhat distressing - Santa Rosa County is like 30% positives scampi counties, 20% positive.

What Do the County Numbers Mean?
Escambia County showed 19.4% positivity as you see a lot fewer tests going on corresponding with that date. Nonetheless, that percentage is still disconcerting and then the Santa Rosa County numbers are at 30%. Perfect positive numbers in both counties are higher than what they were in June and July.

Disturbing News from the United Kingdom (UK) – Defining “Variant Strain”
I want to explain this without dizzying people too much is imagine if I asked a bunch of different people to type 30,000 letters, like a letter to someone, 30,000 in alphabetical letters, there's going to be typos. What the typo means is that the new portion of the protein changes because of that type, that's the variant. It doesn't mean that this is a new strain that’s bigger or stronger or anything like that, but when you add enough of these typos up, this is on the order of 17 typos that they're finding with this new strain.

Data on the Strain in South Africa
They're doing something similar with this strain that is getting bigger at a quicker rate. This was the presentation there. South African Ministry is planning to continue surveilling this genetic lineage of the virus, which actually does quite well in South Africa and very well in the UK compared to the US where it's been a little bit fractured.

Our efforts have been focused more on the vaccines. We should keep locked down in the places that it needs to be locked down. But they say, you know, what's the next step? And they said we found a new lineage. Now we need to know the significance of all these different mutations, these typos that I mentioned earlier, what they mean to the virus.

The Vaccine Reality and Myth
Myth: So, if I get sick over Christmas or after Christmas, I'll just go get the vaccine and I'll be fine- this is faulty logic. Why? Yes, the vaccine is out there and yes, there's a sense that we're on the offensive now and that's for maybe this much of the population. So, if you attend a Holiday party and catch the virus, you can not go to the hospital and get the vaccine somewhere. No, if you're that ill, the vaccine is the last thing that you need, what you would need would be what is prescribed for reducing symptoms.
