Americans try German Christmas Treats - Part 1: Lebkuchen etc.

In this video, we try German Christmas treats. Our students try Pfeffernüsse (spiced gingerbread cookies), gefüllte Lebkuchenherzen (gingerbread hearts filled with jelly), and Elisenlebkuchen (gingerbread made without flower). Since Americans are not used to gingerbread that is as spicy as German gingerbread this is quite a new experience for them and not everybody liked it. Americans are also not used to gingerbread or cookies being filled with jelly/ jam, so this is also an acquired taste for them. Geschmäcker sind eben verschieden.- Everyone has his own taste. Our students still had a lot of fun making this video and can`t wait for the next video in which they get to try German candy. :)
