Americans Try German Christmas Treats - Part 3: Marzipan

In this video, we try more German Christmas Treats. First, we try Marzipankartoffeln. Marzipan is made out of almonds, sugar and rose water. During Christmas time, Germans eat Marzipankartoffeln - little balls made from Marzipan and rolled in cocoa and cinnamon to look like little potatoes. After that we try Marzipanbrot which is a marzipan log covered in dark chocolate to resemble a loaf of bread when sliced into little pieces. Most of us were not familiar with Marzipan.
