Americans Try German Christmas Treats - Part 4: Dominosteine etc.

In this video, we try more German Christmas treats.
First, we try Schokokränze which are chocolate Christmas wreaths covered in sprinkles. They can be eaten as is or hung in the Christmas tree. Then we try Dominosteine, a traditional German Christmas treat. Dominosteine have three layers and are covered in dark chocolate. The bottom layer is gingerbread, followed by a layer of cherry jelly and the top layer is marzipan. Invented in 1936, this treat was originally sold as a replacement sweet during the war but is still very popular in Germany today.
