Ingredients:
• Butter or Margarine 250g
• Icing Sugar 500g
• Whipped cream 2 tablespoons
• Vanilla 2 teaspoons
Instructions:
• There are several ways to make this but I’m using a very simple method today.
• Let’s check out the ingredients
• Butter is the main ingredient of the buttercream icing
• This is 250g of Softened Margarine
• You can either use butter or margarine for this recipe
• First you must beat the soft butter until air is filled in it
• A lot of you have asked me “how to make the buttercream in white color?”
• Well there’s no special trick or color bleach but beating longer like for 15 minutes is the key
• you have to select quality butter for the best taste of the buttercream icing
• The key to perfect buttercream is high fat content in the soft butter you’ve used
• If you can find the whitish butter from cake stores, that would be better.
• You can also use the “unsalted butter” for a better taste.
• Now you can add the well sifted 500g of icing sugar in it
• Add this in batches without adding it all at once to mix it well
• Now I’m adding vanilla 2 teaspoons
• Many have low sugar preference in butter cream icing
• We can do it by adding some whipped cream
• I’m adding 2 table spoons of COLD whipped cream
• Now beat for another 10-15 minuets
• If you want to change the consistency, add more icing sugar or milk/cream/juice
• This is our final Vanilla Buttercream Frosting
