EP47: Fantastic Fraser Island (K'gari) | Maheno Wreck, Eli Creek, Lake Mckenzie | Lap of Australia

We drop Archie off for a few days and head over to the World Heritage listed Fraser Island for a few days. Fraser Island is the largest sand island in the world at 1840 sqkm's and there is so much amazing places to visit.

While here we check out the amazing Maheno Ship Wreck which lies on stunning 75 mile beach. Drive all the way up to Indian Head where the waters turn a beautiful turquoise colour. And stop by Eli Creek and spend the morning chilling out, waiting for the tides to recede.

On our final day we treat ourselves at Kingfisher Bay Resort and visit the incredible Lake Mckenzie where we couldn't resist jumping in. Then finally did a short walk around Central Station.

We are Hannah, Chris and dog Archie, setting off on a 12(ish) month trip around Australia - our BIG Staycation, with the whole of Australia as our backyard!
