EP34: Outback NT - Road to the Centre! | Mataranka, Bitter Springs, Daly Waters | Lap of Australia

This week we head south down the Stuart Highway, straight through the centre of Australia. We leave Darwin with our first stop being Mataranka to visit the famous Mataranka Springs and more impressive Bitter Springs where we got up early for a sunrise dip in the warm thermal pools.

Next we continue down the road to Daly Waters Pub, the strangest and quirkiest pub in Australia and we loved it. We decided to stay the night and take in the amazing feel of the place and had an awesome night out with some live music and fantastic food.

We then have a quick stop into Tenant Creek and get out of there early the next morning, visiting the Devils Marbles on the way towards Alice Springs where we have a quick stopover (we will return in a later episode!). We finish the week at Erldunda Roadhouse, at the centre of the centres!

We are Hannah, Chris and dog Archie, setting off on a 12(ish) month trip around Australia - our BIG Staycation, with the whole of Australia as our backyard!
