On 01/29/25, I heard the words that changed our lives forever at my son’s 2 year old well visit❤️‍🩹

He had no symptoms. Nothing that would have made me worry.
But his pediatrician runs a finger prick CBC every year… and his white blood cell count came back over 30k.

They ran it again. And again.
And just like that, everything changed.

That day marked the beginning of a 2 and a half year journey toward remission.

By the grace of God and an incredible care team, Macon is responding well to treatment. And for that, I will never stop being thankful.💛
