As you get farther away from Maui’s coastline, you’ll end up in Upcountry, an area known for its unique farms, rolling pastures, and sweeping panoramic views. We first visited Ali’i Kula Lavender Farm and explored their beautiful grounds while trying all things lavender – lavender scones, honey, chocolate and even lavender coffee! Next we went to Maui Estate Coffee and were graciously welcomed by the owners and given an intimate tour of their farm while tasting their deliciously aromatic, hand crafted small batch gourmet coffee. We ended the day eating a late dinner at Mama’s Fish House, a can’t miss if you’re ever in Maui, not only for the fresh food and impeccable service, but for the amazing views and ambience.
