‘Money isn’t being spent correctly’: James Ashby says govts don’t ‘have a revenue problem’

One Nation Chief of Staff James Ashby says government revenue “isn’t being spent correctly”.

Treasurer Jim Chalmers will hand down the federal budget on Tuesday, May 14.

“Everything we do … the money isn’t being spent correctly,” Mr Ashby told Sky News host Paul Murray.

“We don’t have a revenue problem in this country; we have a spending one.”
