Think of your nerves like insulated wires inside of your body. As you move, they are meant to slide freely through your tissues. Sometimes, adhesions or scar tissue build-up can pin these wires down. That means every time you move, they're getting caught and tugged on. This exercise helps loosen the nerves and get them unstuck which, in turn, can reduce any of those pesky nerve pain symptoms!
