Nov 2022 NWMA Meeting | Marples Tri - Cruising Sea of Cortez and West Coast of Mexico w/ Joe & Patty

Joel and Patty Smith present their year cruising the Sea of Cortez and the west coast of Mexico in Manxi, their Marples Constant Camber 35 trimaran. Their presentation includes a brief account of building and equipping the boat, and then focuses on the voyage from San Francisco to Mexico and cruising in Mexico and the life of cruisers. They launched SV Manxi in February 2021. Joel said "anyone interested in more information could contact us. It is sv.manxi on Instagram." Joel and Patty went from complete sailing neophytes to full time cruisers in relatively short order, and that includes finishing a partly built boat that had been languishing for years.
