A How-To Tutorial - The Stomach Vacuum

So, are you wondering what on earth a stomach vacuum is yet? Don’t worry, you’re not going to be getting out the dirt devil or anything, it’s got nothing to do with cleaning. Are you Ready to give it a try with me? Ok let’s go.

Start by taking a deep breath in, exhale all the air out, then think about pulling your upper stomach up and in to your ribcage.

You hold the breath out only as long as is comfortable. The longest we ever work up to is 15 seconds. But if at any time you want to release and take a breath in make sure you do! With time it will become easier to hold the breath out and feel comfortable. Aim for 5 seconds to start!

I guide you through this movement step by step during each Trim Core workout from all different positions, so just be patient with yourself and keep practicing. I noticed a BIG difference in my waistline after incorporating this movement into my routine, so I’m incredibly excited to share it with you!
