Windy Mountain Tops & B.C. Coast Mountains | Hiking Northern B.C.

Daniel and I (Starr) hiked with our dog Aspen to a beautiful but windy mountain. This mountain is located very close to the B.C. Coast and offers amazing views of the Coastal Mountain Ranges. We drove way out along some forest service roads to a narrow and steep road that lead up the mountain side. We began our hike at a newer mining site and headed up the trail passing by some old mining ruins. While on the trail we saw many cool rocks, some even with a little gold on them! As we headed further up the trail got very windy, we could almost support our weight on the wind. Nearing the summit of the mountain we came to two glaciers that people can backcountry ski on all year long. Near the end we were treated to a beautiful sunset over Rhine Crag and checked out the beautiful Tahtsa Lake.
