ELIO GRASSO BAROLO - THE WINE TASTING

Today we are tasting one of the greatest wines from Barolo the place, which already has a high standard when it comes to winemaking.
It is the 2015 Elio Grasso Barolo Gavarini Chiniera. Make sure that you stick around until the end for the tasting of this wine.
Elio Grasso winery is located in Monforte d’Alba. They own 42 hectares of land but only 18 hectares are planted to vines, the rest are forests
Today the estate is run by Elio, Gianluca, Marina, Francesca, Martina and Anna Grasso. It was Elio who turned the estate into one of the best in the region. When his father died he left his job as a banker in Turin to take over the estate. He started to bottle 100% of the production and to improve the quality.
