My Family Won't Let Me Change | Dealing With Family Members | Veganism | Q & A

What can you do if you are a young student who is dependant upon your parents/guardian and want to make the switch to Veganism? The only thing you can do is to calmly explain your situation to your elders and hope that they allow you to change. When we are living under someone else and do not have our own earnings we unfortunately cannot change our lifestyle. My heart goes out to all the young people who want to make a kinder choice for the animals but are unable to because they are held back by their parents/guardians. There is literally nothing you can do at the moment. You can try to talk and explain yourself to your parents/guardians and sometimes after a few weeks or months they may be more inclined to listen to you. Don't lose hope. Study well, get a good job and then you will be free to make your own decisions.
