Intrinsic Value means the value an organism has towards itself. This is irrelevant to how this organism is perceived by others.
Extrinsic Value means the value that organisms place on an inanimate object depending on how valuable that object is to them.

All forms of human rights are based on Intrinsic value, i.e based on the fact that humans deserve freedom, safety and right to bodily integrity NOT because an external alien species believes they do BUT RATHER because every human wants freedom, safety and right to bodily integrity.
What happens when we now apply this same logic on our animal brethren?
