If "TITANIC 2" Was a Real Thing

Okay so they probably shouldn't make this one, but I just couldn't help but wonder what a follow-up to James Cameron's Titanic (1997) would look like if it was forced into production. As I did with my previous concept trailer (a sequel to Black Swan) I've been trying to challenge myself by making trailers for movies that work better as stand-alone experiences and not movie franchises with a bunch of sequels.

I think the only way a sequel could work is if it followed the life of Kate Winslet's Rose after the Titanic tragedy and the loss of her lover, Leonardo DiCaprio's Jack Dawson. She could be struggling with PTSD and heartbreak and may have visions of Jack. Or...it could take place on the Titanic again but focus on different characters. Or...both of those things....survivors (including Rose) chat with each other about their experiences with the shipwreck.

Yeah we won't be getting this ever, but at least we'll be getting a billion Avatar sequels from James Cameron.
