S01E04 Te Araroa | Days 13-15: Whananaki to Taurikura

In Episode 4 we hike from Whananaki on the east coast north of Whangarei to Taurikura, a small settlement on a bay in the Whangarei Heads.

Celebrating my birthday on the trail was one of my biggest goals before setting out to hike Te Araroa, and in true TA style it was a birthday filled with highs and lows, made bearable by a new group of supportive friends fast becoming my trail family.
